Hello my fellow bow hunters,
Thank you for visiting our site and supporting the Alaskan Bowhunters Association. I’m honored to be apart of such a prestigious organization that supports the wildlife and recreational opportunities within our great state. We truly are the last frontier and it still amazes me to live in such a beautiful state. I first want to thank the fellow board members for allowing me to serve in a capacity that will help grow and foster our sport for current bow hunters and the next generation that follows. Secondly thank you to our loyal members, you are the lifeblood of this organization.
I’m proud to call myself an Alaskan. Born and raised in Anchorage, I had the opportunity to further my hockey career in the lower 48 that allowed my eyes to be truly opened to the vast organizations that exist to foster wildlife preservation. In a career that took me to Canada and numerous other states, I never hesitated to take advantage of hunting and fishing opportunities where I lived. Most recently I spent my time chasing pheasant and white tail in Minnesota. After concluding my university studies, I have returned and immediately jumped at the opportunity to support an organization that truly aims to grow our sport.
Please do not hesitate to say hello, and if you know of another bow hunter please encourage them to join our cause. Together we can band together to preserve and nurture the wildlife and land needed to take advantage of where we live. Like many of you, not a day goes by where I don’t remember my first hunt with my father. To him I owe everything for making me the avid sportsman I am today.
Once again, thank you, I look forward to meeting everyone.
