Cook Inlet Archers

Third Sunday of every month, Oct-May at the club range at the Loretta French Park in Chugiak.  3D All divisions and styles, 20 targets, two arrows each.  Registration at 9:00am.  Shoot at 9:30am.  CIA members $20, Non-members $25, Youth $15, Cubs free.  Lunch included.

Alaska State Archery Association

Spring Bear Shoot, April 25,26.  Tentatively scheduled to be held at the Grouse Ridge Shotgun Shooting Club in Wasilla.  3D All divisions and styles, 35 targets, 2 arrows each, 3 yards to 101 yards!  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  ASAA members $30 for both days.  Non-members $45 for both days.

Traditional Archers of Alaska

Jay Massey Shoot, Memorial Day Weekend, May 28, 29.  At the Boyd farm near Palmer.  Visit traditionalarchersofalaska.com for directions.  3D Traditional only: Longbow, Recurve, Primitive.  40+ targets and novelty shoots too!  Free camping and catch and release fishing.  Registration at 9:00am.  Shoot at 10:00am.  TAA and Alaskan Bowhunters Association members $25/one day or $40/weekend.

Non-members $40/one day or $75/weekend.  Lunch provided both days and potluck dinner Saturday (main meat course provided).  TAA also has shoots at the Birchwood Shooting Park, see the TAA website for information.

Northwest Archers and Blacksheep Bowmen

South Central Unmarked Shoot, May 30, 31, at Kincaid Archery Range, Anchorage.  3D All divisions and styles.  Conforming to NFAA rules.  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  $30 for both days or $20 for one day.  Lunch available.

Sam Weatherford Memorial Shoot, June 13, 14, at Kincaid Archery Range, Anchorage.  3D All divisions and styles.  Rangefinders recommended.  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  $30 for both days or $20 for one day.  Lunch available.

Golden North Archery Association

Midnight Sun Shoot, June 19, at the Esro Road outdoor range, Fairbanks.  The shoot includes multiple events that evening.  Adults $10.  Kids $5.  Contact Bill Payton for additional information at 907-590-9737. 

Kenai Peninsula Archers

Independence Day Shoot, July 4, 5, at the KPA Range on Arc Loop Rd, Soldotna.  3D All divisions and styles.  30 targets a day.  Free camping.  Lunch available.  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  Range will be open at 3:00pm Friday, July 3, for those who cannot shoot on Sunday.  KPA members $25 for two days.  Non-members $40 for two days.

Northwest Sectionals and State Field Shoot, July 17-19, at Kincaid Archery Range, Anchorage.  Conforms to the new NFAA field format.  See NFAA website for details.  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  ASAA members $30.  Non-members $45.

Alaska State Archery Association

Outdoor Target Shoot, Aug 1, 2, at the UAF grass field behind Providence Hospital, Trunk Road, just off of the Parks Hwy, Palmer.  This is the classic NFAA 1500 round 40-50-60-yards.  Registration at 8:00am.  Shoot at 9:00am.  ASAA members $30.  Non-members $45.
