About Me
Frank Noska was born in Garland, Texas and learned how to bow hunt in the Lone Star state. He began his bow hunting career learning how to hunt Whitetail deer, Turkeys, and Javelina in Texas. Over the next several years, in seeking a little more adventure, he started traveling out west to bow hunt Elk, Pronghorn, Mule deer, etc. Frank loved the adventure, and continued to broaden his bow hunting horizons. Frank targeted different species of North American big game every chance he got, no matter where it took him in the continent.
When Frank had the opportunity to move to Alaska about 18 years ago, he never looked back. The move to Alaska was precisely for the increased opportunity of more adventurous bow hunting, and multiple challenging species to pursue. He participates in several bow hunts every year in Alaska, Mexico, Canada, and the lower 48. Frank is 51 years old and has been bow hunting with a passion for 35 years. Frank’s life has revolved around bow hunting ever since he started shooting arrows when he was 16 years old in Texas. There is not a day that goes by that he doesn’t accomplish something related to his bow hunting.
This past March, Frank arrowed a Desert Bighorn Sheep that was his 149th Pope and Young animal. Several of these animals also make the Boone and Crockett awards or all-time record book. In 2008, Frank completed the Archery Superslam of North American Big Game animals, and also the Archery Grand Slam of sheep. He is currently on a quest for his second Archery Superslam. Frank is an official measurer for both The Boone and Crockett Club and The Pope and Young Club. He holds lifetime memberships in the NRA, SCI, Grand Slam Club/Ovis, Wild Sheep Foundation, and the Alaska Bowhunters Association.
Frank has been blessed with good health, a great family and friends, an understanding and supportive girlfriend, a great job, and lots of good luck along the way. When Frank is not in the outdoors on some wild bow hunting adventure, he is an airline pilot for United Parcel Service. Frank flies the world to pay for these adventures, and continue in his quest. He has been an airline pilot for United Parcel Service for almost 20 years. He is currently a Captain on a McDonald Douglas 11 (MD-11) and usually flies internationally out of his home base in Anchorage, Alaska.
